The Madawaska Valley Public Library was established in 1960 and throughout the years has seen much growth, not only in content, but in physical facilities as well.

The Madawaska Valley Public Library has become an integral part of the community's life. It is committed to the growth and overall benefit of its patrons and our community as a whole.

Youth, Triple Express Pass

MV Library: November is National Novel Writing Month. Great Stories revolve around great characters. If you are between 10- 18 years, tell us what fictional character you would like to share a coffee with and why! Ask him/ her some tough questions about thier hopes, fears, habits, ask how he/she would act in a crazy situation, or tell us what makes your character memorable. Writing will be displayed on our Writer's Cafe Wall & there is a chance to win a Chapters Gift Card. Submit your writing at the library in person or by email to


The Railway Station: A showcase of artistic talent from young persons under the age of 20 in the visual arts.  The exhibit can be viewed during Station hours, Wed - Sat from 10:00 - 4:00 


Our Lady Seat of Wisdom: Our Lady Seat of Wisdom will be showcasing their student talent in the arts: singing, dance, music, juggling and more. November 26th at MV Library
